WhiteWave Foods Acquired For $12.5 Billion

In a big, non-tech deal for the region, Denver-based WhiteWave Foods Co., the maker of Silk soy milk, So Delicious dairy-free products, and other products, has been acquired by French food maker Danone SA in a deal worth $12.5 billion in cash. Danone SA said it would pay $56.25 per share in cash for organic food maker WhiteWave.
