Webroot Names CISO

Broomfield, Colorado-based Webroot the provider of cyber security software, announced this morning that it has named Gary Hayslip as the company's Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Hayslip was most recently CISO and deputy director for the City of San Diego, driving that city's "Smart City" initiative. The company said Hayslip will guide its information security program and contribute to product strategy.
