Wayin Catches San Jose Sharks

Denver-based online polling and social site Wayin has scooped up a new customer today, the San Jose Sharks. According to Wayin, the Sharks, which are part of the National Hockey League, are using the company's services to engage Twitter followers and fans. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Wayin, which is venture backed by U.S. Venture Partners, TIBCO Software, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati, and a long list of angels, said that its software will be used to create a central, public dashboard of content for the Sharks. The Sharks Game Day Hub includes Twitter, Instagram, and other content, plus broadcast video interviews and much more. Wayin is led by Tom Jessiman.
