vSpring Appoints New Mexico Head

Salt Lake City, Utah-based venture capital firm vSpring capital said Tuesday afternoon that it has named Gavin Christensen as head of the firm's New Mexico office. Christensen, who has previously served as a senior associate at the firm, will become a principal at vSpring. Christensen was most recently at Google, and has also been involved at a seed-stage venture fund at the Kellogg School of management. vSpring is an investor in four New Mexico companies, including Exagen Diagnostics, Protalex, VeraLight, and Aspen Avionics.
