ViaWest Names Burton Marketing VP

Denver-based Viawest, the provider of colocation and managed services, reported yesterday afternoon that it has hired Laurel Burton as its Vice President of Marketing. Burton joins the company from Qwest Communications, and has also served at Ernst & Young, Sequel Venture Partners, and Baxter Healthcare. ViaWest said Burton will spearhead marketing, lead generation, and branding for the company.
