Utah Connects Fishing Info To Alexa
Wondering how the fishing is at Strawberry Reservoir, or if anything is biting in the Uintas? Utah's Division of Wildlife Resources has connected its fishing information database to Amazon.com's Alexa personal digital assistant, letting Alexa users get information on the status of Utah's fishing spots, the department said this morning. The department said the Alexa skill tells fisherman the status at the Utah fishing spots, the conditions, bait that has been working, and what species are biting, through the Utah Fishing app. The department also posts its fishing reports on an interactive map online. Utah's State government has been an early adopter on a significant number of technology fronts, allowing citizens to apply for business licenses, file accident reports, complete permit applications, access vital records, and much, much more all via online services and mobile apps.
