UCN Inc., a provider of on-demand contact center software, revealed Tuesday that it has signed a renewable, one-year service contract with a popular online housewares retailer. The Salt Lake City, Utah-based business identified its new client as, which also operates e-commerce stores for major brands, including Starbucks, Betty Crocker, Pillsbury and the Food Network. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. UCN said took advantage of a recent relocation to upgrade its customer contact system to UCN's inContact solution. Founded in 1998, is based in Marina Del Rey, Calif.
