Ubidyne Receives $14.4M

Ubidyne, a developer of embedded radio antenna technology for the wireless industry, said today that it has raised $14.4M in a funding from Gimv, boosting its Series B funding to $43M. The firm, which has U.S. headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona and global headquarters in Ulm, Germany, said that the investment comes on top of existing fudning from Baytech, Doughty Hanson, and TVM Capital. The firm said the funding will go towards ramping production and marketing. Ubidyne's antenna systems are used in wireless base stations and cell phone networks. Ubidyne's initial close on its Series B came in May of 2008. More information »
