Tvtag Takes On Social Television

Provo, Utah- and New York-based i.TV--the social software maker formerly known as GetGlue--said today that it has launched Tvtag, a new second-screen and social television service. The service allows users to share with others when they are watching their favorite television shows, letting users check into their favorite shows, tag their favorite parts of the show, share comments, chat with others, and more. According to i.TV, the purpose of the new service is to make watching TV "more fun and memorable". i.TV is led by Brad Pelo.
