TopSchool Gets $8M

Denver-based TopSchool, a developer of software-as-a-service for managing higher education, including college admissions, said yesterday that it has raised $8M in a third round of venture capital funding. The new round was led by MK Capital, and also included prior investors New World Ventures, Alsop Louie Partners and Access Venture Partners. The new round brings the company's funding to a total of $18.2M. TopSchool said the firm will use the funding to drive product and infrastructure development, and increased account management support. As part of the investment, Karen Buckner of MK Capital joins the firm's board. More information »
