TodaysMama.com Takes On Twitter
Salt Lake City-based TodaysMama.com, an online community focused on mothers, said Monday that it has launched a new service patterned after the popular Twitter microblogging service. The publishing firm said that its new TodaysMama Connect is targeted at helping women connect with "microblogging"--the use of short, 140-character instant messages to communicate with others. The new service supports SMS, connections into Twitter, mobile updates, and more, and leverages the open source package Laconica for the Twitter functionality.
