TerraLux Raises $5.6M

Boulder-based TerraLUX, a developer of energy efficient LED modules for the solid state lighting market, announced today that it has raised $5.6M in a Series A investment round. Emerald Technology Ventures led the funding round, which also included prior investor Access Venture Partners. TerraLUX said the new funding will go to accelerate the firm's growth, with a parcilar focus on commercial general illumination products and LED modules. Whitney Rockley of Emerald Technology Ventures joins the board along with the funding. More information »
