TeraDact Ties with McAfee

Missoula, Montana-based TeraDact, a developer of software which helps show all hidden data in electronic documents, said yesterday that it has tied into security software firm McAfee. The firm said it has joined the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance (SIA) partner program, which will enable it to integrate its software with McAfee's ePolicy Orchestrator software. TeraDact is looking to solve the inadvertent leakage of data through hidden fields, history information, and other information which is sometimes left in electronic documents, despite that data having been removed. Problems with inadvertant information being improperly released from redacted electronic documents has affected such organizations as the U.S. military, AT&T, and others.
