Telerus Acquired By Securus Technologies

Denver-based Telerus, a developer of interactive voice response (IVR) systems aimed at the jails and correction industry, has been acquired by fellow jail communications service provider Securus Technologies. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The two companies provide IVR services which are used by jails to communicate routine information to inmates, family, and friends. The two said their products include inmate audio, video, GPS parolee tracking, big data analysis, and automated information services.
