Techstars Rolls Out Updated Code Of Contact

Boulder-based startup accelerator Techstars, responding to multiple incidents in Silicon Valley around sexual harassment by venture capital investors, has rolled out a revised "Code of Conduct" for its entrepreneurs, mentors, and others involved in its program, reiterating its effort to create a safe, comfortable environment for entrepreneurs, no matter their race, gender, age, country of origin or any other attribute. The startup accelerator, which was not involved in any of the incidents disclosed over the last week, said it was responding to a "watershed week, of sorts, for the VC industry in general". The update came in response to the resignation of a number of prominent venture capitalists--including Dave McClure, the founder of startup accelerator 500 Startups, and Justin Caldbeck of Binary Capital--over their sexual harassment of women.
