TechStars Gets $24M, Ups Funding Per Company To $100K

Boulder-based TechStars, the startup accelerator run by David Cohen, said this morning that it has raised $24M in a new funding round, from The Foundry Group, IA Ventures, Avalon Ventures, DFJ Mercury, SoftBank Capital, SVB Financial Group, RRE Ventures, Right Side Capital Management, as well as individuals. According to the firm, the new funding will boost the amount it invests in each of its participants to $100,000, in the form of a convertible note.
