Techstars Launches Into India

In a huge expansion for Boulder-based Techstars, the startup accelerator operator has launched its first accelerator program in the country of India, the group said today. According to Techstars, it has launched a joint venture with ANSR, to launch Techstars India, which aims to expand entrepreneurial opportunities in India. Techstars--which has been running such programs as the Techstars Mentorship-Driven Accelerator Programs and Techstars Corporate Innovation Partnerships in India, as well as Startup Weekends--said the accelerator program will be in Bangalore.
