Techstars Boulder Names New Class

Boulder-based Techstars named its new 2016 class of companies in Boulder on Thursday, the tenth class of companies to enter the startup accelerator. According to Techstars, it has added 11 companies in the latest class, including Alchemy Learning (sales and public speaking training using VR); AncestorCloud (genealogy expert marketplace); Bridge21 (Bitcoin API); Converge Industries (building inspection via drone); Edn (automatic, connected herb and vegetable gardening); Free and For Sale (mobile marketplace for used goods); Init.ai (artificial intelligence, natural language processing); Maxwell (home purchase tools); MeetMindful (dating app for mindful living); Orderly Health (helping with healthcare costs and saving money); and Sectoin.io (content delivery network). The class will have its demo day on May 18th. Techstars says that the 11 companies come on top of an earlier, 99 companies who have graduated from the program. Techstars ran its first program in 2007, in Boulder, creating a model which it has now expanded to over 20 other programs worldwide.
