Taptu Grabs $3.5M

Taptu, the developer of a social news reader application for mobile platforms which has its U.S. headquarters in Denver, said today that it has raised $3.5M in funding. The funding came from DFJ Espirit and Sofinnova Ventures. According to Taptu, the funding will go towards expanding its product offerings beyond its iOS and Android social news aggregation software. Taptu is headed by Mitch Lazar, and has its global headquarters in Cambridge, England. More information »
