SynCardia Names Manufacturing VP

Tucson, Arizona-based Syncardia Systems, which manufacturers an FDA-approved artificial heart, has named Brian Brogie as the company's Vice President of Manufacturing and Facilities. Brogie was most recently Director of Manufacturing for Gilead Sciences. He also had served at Oso BioPharmaceuticals and BF Goodrich Aerospace, and has more than 30 years of experience in the area, according to SynCardia.
