Techstars Announces 2019 Sustainability Accelerator Class In Denver

Startup accelerator operator Techstars announced the 2019 class of the Techstars Sustainability Accelerator, which has just started in Denver. According to Techstars, it has added ten companies to the accelerator focused on such areas as tackling climate change, providing food and water sustainably, building healthy cities, and protecting our land and water. The Sustainability Accelerator is being sponsored by The Nature Conservancy, and will run over the next 13 weeks, with the Demo Day for the class taking place on October 30th in downtown Denver. The startups in this class include 2NDNATURE (cloud-based stormwater management and compliance); AQUAOSO Technologies (water analytics software); Bext60 (sustainability in the supply chain); Gybe (use of statellite imagery to manage restoration of aquatic ecosystems); Mammoth Trading (software for managing and trading agricultural water allocations); microTERRA (conversion of agricultural runoff into livestock feed); mobius (biodegradable plastics and chemicals); Nori (marketplace for CO2 credits for sustainable farming); Propagate Ventures (agroforestry investment); and Regen Network (online platform for verifiable ecological agreements between farmers, brands, and institutions).
