CANVAS Technology Acquired By Amazon

Boulder-based CANVAS Technology, which develops autonomous navigation and robotics technology for the warehouse robotics market, has been acquired by Amazon, to help it bolster the robots used in its fulfillment centers. Financial details of the acquisition have not been announced. CANVAS has mostly been in stealth mode since it was first started, in 2015. CANVAS Technology was venture backed by Playground Global, Morado Ventures, Xplorer Capital and AME Cloud Ventures.
