Automox Ties With SentinelOne On Vulnerability Patching

Boulder-based Automox, which develops cloud-based, automated patch management and configuration management software, has linked up with Silicon Valley endpoint protection software developer SentinelOne, the two said last week. According to the companies, the deal will help SentinelOne customers to automate vulnerability patching across their enterprise environment. Financial details of the strategic partnership were not announced. The two said they are aiming at the "massive weak spot" in enterprise security as a result of unpatched or misconfigured systems, which they say represent 80 percent of the "corporate attack surface". Automox is led by founder and CEO Jay Prassl. The company is backed by TechOperators, CRV, BlueNote Ventures, and angel Tom Noonan.
