Report: Facebook Moderators In Phoenix Face Emotional Toll, Show PTSD Symptoms

A report, issued by The Verge today, claims that Facebook moderators working for a company called Cognizant in Phoenix face dire working conditions and a huge emotional toll. According to the report, those moderators regularly have to view disturbing posts, including murders, violence, hate, and graphic pornography, and show symptoms of PTSD from the constant onslaught of disturbing content. According to The Verge, those content moderators make only $28,800 a year.
