Co-Diagnostics Snags Patent

Salt Lake City-based Co-Diagnostics, a developer of molecular diagnostics technology, reported it received a patent from the US Patent and Trademark Office. According to the company, it received Patent No. 10,093,966, "Cooperative Primers, Probes and Applications Thereof", which covers the technology behind its platform. The patent was granted on October 9th, and names Brent C. Satterfield--the company's co-founder--as inventor. Co-Diagnostics filed for the patent in September of 2016, when it was then known as "DNA Logix".
