sPower Gets $498.7M In Bond Financing

Salt Lake City-based energy project developer sPower said on Thursday that it has raised $498.7M in a private placement. The company said the debt financed represents approximately half of sPower's 1.3 GW of operating portfolio. According to sPower, the bank loan refinancing will be used finance further development of its renewable generating facilities.
