Owlet Baby Care Finds $19.9M, Aims At $22.7M

Lehi, Utah-based Owlet Baby Care, which makes "smart" baby socks which allow parents to monitor the vitals of their newborns, has raised $19.9M in a funding round--part of an ongoing $22.7M funding. The funding came to light on Thursday via a regulatory filing, but had not yet been announced by the company. Source of the new funding have not yet been announced, however, Owlet has previously raised funding from such investors as Eclipse, Eniac, Trilogy Equity Partners, the Amazon Alexa Fund, RTP-HC, Capital Integral and Broadway Angels.
