Techstars Expands To India

Boulder-based startup accelerator operator Techstars--which already has a far flung, global network of accelerators--said this week that it is expanding to the country of India. According to Techstars, it has launched a new effort called Techstars India, which will focus on innovating in areas aligned to startups, corporations and talent. The new effort will be led by Bala Girisaballa, formerly the head of the Microsoft Accelerator India, and founder of technology starrtup Purplefront.
