Techstars Launches Third Startup Accelerator In Canada

Boulder-based startup a accelerator operator Techstars announced today that it has launched its third, startup accelerator in the country of Canada, with a new program in Montreal. According to Techstars, its new Techstars Montreal AI Accelerator is being launched in conjunction with Canadian early stage venture investor Real Ventures. Techstars said it has begun accepting applications to the program, starting today, with a deadline of May 13th for the program, which will begin in September. Techstars said that the program in Montreal comes as a result of "the most concentrated pool of AI researchers worldwide", with such companies as Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Samsung, Thales, and others have invested millions of dollars in AI labs across Montreal.
