Xymat Engineering Acquired By Private Equity Investor

Colorado Springs-based Xymat Engineering, which develops specialty shipping containers for the United States Department of Energy (DOE), has been acquired by private equity investor CR3 Capital, the companies said today. Financial terms of the deal were not announced. CR3 Capital is based in Dallas, Texas. As part of the acquisition, CR3 Capital said it has appointed Douglas Waldron as President and CEO of Xymat Engineering; Waldron previously was CEO of Advanced Joining Technologies.
