Xactware Buys Service Software

Lehi, Utah-based Xactware, a developer of insurance estimating software, said on Friday that it has acquired Littleton, Colorado-based Service Software. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Service Software develops software used by insurance restoration profesionals, plus warranty, inspection, and equipment management. Xactware said Service Software will continue to operate from its based in Colorado. Service Software's products are used for work order management, service and inspections for fire and water restoration firms, inspection services companies, fire and safety inspection companies, home builders, and general construction and trade contractors.
