Turner Imaging Systems Raises Seed Funding

Orem, Utah-based Turner Imaging Systems, a startup developing battery-powered, portable X-ray imaging systems, has raised a seed funding round, the company said Tuesday afternoon. The funding came from Cavendish Impact Capital, along with other, un-named investors. Turner Imaging Systems says it provides operating-room quality imaging in its field-portable X-ray systems. Turner Imaging Systems is led by Dr. D. Clark Turner. As part of the funding, Cavendish Impact Capital Managing Director John Evey joins the comapny's board of directors.
