Wowza Launches Facebook Live Streaming Appliance

Need a better way to live stream yourself to Facebook? Golden, Colorado-based Wowza, the developer of live video streaming software, launched a new, dedicated appliance specifically for streaming broadcast quality streams to Facebook. According to Wowza, its new Wowza ClearCaster appliance is specifically built for broadcasts on Facebook Live, and just needs to be plugged in to work, auto-configuring itself to optimize real time video stream settings. Wowza said its new ClearCaster appliance supports both 1080p and 4K UHD streams, and connects to cameras, editing bays, and live production studios. Pricing on Wowza's new appliance was not announced by the company.
