Foundry's Feld Funds Every DonorsChoose Project In The State of Alaska

Brad Feld, a venture capitalist at Boulder's Foundry Group, and his wife, Amy Batchelor, have just--in one fell swoop--funded every single unfunded DonorsChoose project in the state of Alaska. DonorsChoose is an online website which allows teachers to solicit donations for different educational projects and needs. Brad Feld said that Aspect Ventures matched all of the couple's donations in Alaska, as part of an annual "#BestSchoolDay" event with the online site. The donation fully funded 72 unfunded projects in Alaska. Feld and Batchelor have pledged to give away their money while they are alive, and have already been active in supporting the Techstars Foundation and many other philanthropic causes.
