The Aircraft Group Acquired By Private Equity Investor

Phoenix-based The Aircraft Group, a provider of aircraft fleet asset management and consulting services for aircraft purchases, sales, and leasing, has been acquired by private equity investor AE Industrial Partners. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The Aircraft Group was founded in 1990 by Walter Andrushenko, and helps clients with the buying, selling, and leasing commercial aircraft, including inspections, technical analysis, certification, and other consulting services. AE Industrial Partners--which is a unit of AE Materials Group--said it invests in aerospace, power generation, and specialized industrial companies.
