Zayo Expands In Seattle

Boulder-based bandwidth provider Zayo> said it is planning a major expansion in Seattle, with plans to add fiber-to-the-tower (FTT) to more than 500 wireless towers, for an un-named major wireless carrier. Exact financial impact of the deal was not disclosed, however, Zayo said it will invest $61M in capital investments, and expects cash flow yield of approximately 11 percent per annum on the investment. Zayo helps power the backhaul networks of telecom carriers with its fiber networks.
