Webroot Names Channel VP

Broomfield, Colorado-based Webroot said today that it has named Charles Tomeo as its new Vice President of Worldwide Channels. The Internet security software firm said that Tomeo has almost 20 years of security experience, including almost eight at Webroot. Tomeo was most recently Senior Director of WW Systems Engineer, Professional Services, and Training at Webroot. Tomeo also served at Finjan Software and Merrill Lynch. Webroot said Tomeo is responsible for strategy and execution for worldwide channels for its business segment.
