IHS Closes GlobalSpec Acquisition

Englewood, Colorado-based IHS has completed its acquisition of GlobalSpec, the provider of information search and products data for engineering, scientific, manufacturing, and other professionals. The deal was worth $135M. IHS acquired GlobalSpec from private equity firm Warburg Pincus.
