APconnections Hires VP

Lafayette, Colorado-based APconnections, a manufacturer of bandwidth control and network optimization appliances, reported Tuesday that it has hired Joe D'Esopo as vice president of business development. APconnections described D’Esposo as an industry veteran with more than two decades of high-tech sales and business development experience. Most recently, APconnections noted, he served as vice president of North American sales and customer service for Cymer Inc., a manufacturer of lasers used in semiconductor photolithography. Before that, APconnections continued, D'Esopo held sales positions with IBM, Cullinet Software and Micron Semiconductor.
