SkyeTek Expands RFID IC Support

Westminster, Colorado-based SkyeTek, a provider of embedded RFID reader technology, said today that its readers now support ICs from Em Microelectronics. According to the firm, its M9 SkyeModule, its RFID reader module, now supports a set of UHF ICs from EM Electronics, a major manufacturer of RFID transponder ICs. The firms' RFID products are used for access control, airline baggage handling, inventory, supply chain management, and other applications. SkyeTek's M9 module is embedded into electronics products for providing UHF RFID functionality.
