ON Semiconductor Adds LED Driver

Phoenix Arizona-based ON Semiconductor has added a new white LED driver to its line of semiconductors. The firm said that its new NCP5603 white LED driver is targeted at high brightness LEDs for torch and flash applications on camera phones and other portable consumer electronic devices. ON said that it expects the device to provide improved camera flash and better picture quality for low cost, low power applications. ON Semiconductor is a provider of power semiconductors for the computer, mobile, and other markets.
