STORServer Ships Data Backup Appliance

Colorado Springs-based STORServer announced a new data backup appliance today, saying that its new V-Series Data Protection Appliance will provide backup, archive, and disaster recovery. The firm said that its appliance provide fully integrated solutions, including hardware and software, for managing IT operations. STORServer said its new appliance is based on VMware ESX server technology, and came during VMware's VMworld conference today. Pricing details of the appliances were not released.
