StorageCraft Takes Aim At Symantec

Draper, Utah-based StoreCraft is hoping to snag customer from Symantec, saying this week that it is offering a new, competitive upgrade pricing program to people looking to switch to its disk-based backup software. The firm said it is specifically targeting users of Symantec Backup Exec, Live State Recovery and V2i Protector, who want to switch to the firm's StorageCraft ShadowProtect Server or ShadowProtect Small Business Server products. The firm said its upgrade discount is 35 percent off its list price on its products.
