StillSecure Acquires ProtectPoint Security

Superior, Colo.-based StillSecure, a maker of network infrastructure security software, announced Monday that it has acquired ProtectPoint Security Inc. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Founded more than seven years ago and headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., ProtectPoint operates a round-the-clock security operations center that provides managed security services, including firewall, virtual private networking, anti-spam, anti-virus and content filtering. ProtectPoint uses monthly and annual subscription models. According to StillSecure, it will retain all ProtectPoint employees. StillSecure added that both companies will work to integrate their product lines and services.
