SportZu.tv Gets Funding

Denver-based SportsZu.tv, an online site focused on video content for the youth sport market, said Monday that it has scored a bridge financing. Financial terms of the financing were not disclosed, and the firm did not detail investors in the firm. SportsZu.tv also said it has added Chris Philpott to the firm's executive team, in a finance advisory role; Philpott was most recently CFO of ManiaTV. SportsZu.TV operates an online site which features videos from local teams, how-to content, advice, and more for amateur sports. The firm is targeting youth sports coaches, parents and athletes.
