SpectraLogic Signs Discovery Communications

Boulder, Colorado-based Spectra Logic said today that the firm has signed on cable television operator Discovery Communications as a customer. Spectra Logic said that Discovery, the parent firm of Discovery Channel and the Animal Planet, is using the firm's Spectra T950 tape library for its Latin American operations. Size of the win was not disclosed. Spectra Logic said the install went into Discovery's Miami, Florida operations.
