Sparxent Appoints Veteran Finance Manager CFO

Sparxent Inc. reported Monday that it has hired former Salesforce.com executive Andrew Hyde as chief financial officer. Sparxent described Hyde as a 25-year operations and financial management veteran. Most recently, the Salt Lake City-based IT consulting firm said, Hyde served as CFO for Speakeasy Inc., a broadband, voice and data service provider that mega-retailer Best Buy recently acquired. Prior to Speakeasy, Sparxent noted, Hyde was CFO at Salesforce, where he helped develop the company’s business model and go-to-market strategy. He began his career at GE, where he held various financial management roles, including a five-year stint on GE's corporate audit staff.
