Sovrn Takes Aim At Ad Blocking
Boulder-based ad network operator Sovrn has taken a stand on the whole issue of ad blocking--the rising growth of software to block the display of advertisements on web publications--and issued a manifesto on how to deal with the trend. Saying that publishers "revenue is under attack", the ad network operator suggested a move to make the user experience a priority, reducing advertisement cluter, and picking the "right ad partner" to avoid antagonizing users and causing them to block ads.
