SlamData Gets $3.6M For NoSQL Data Visualization Tools

Boulder-based SlamData, a developer of visual analytics tools for viewing NoSQL Data, said Thursday that it has raised $3.6M in a seed funding round. The funding was led by True Ventures. SlamData, led by Jeff Carr, develops a high level, visual interface to help non-developers view and manipulate the data stored in NoSQL databases. NoSQL databases are used for storing and querying non-structured data, and are an alternative to traditional, table-based databases.
