SkinIt Acquired by Global Wireless Entertainment

Golden, Colorado-based SkinIt, a provider of vinyl stickers used to personalize cell phones and other electronics, was quietly acquired last month by San Diego-based Global Wireless Entertainment. Terms were not disclosed. SkinIt was combined with GWE's Cellfan.com business, to provide vinyl skins for cell phones, iPods, desktop computers, monitors, and other electronics. Global Wireless Entertainment provides personalized products based on licensed designs from sports teams (NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS), entertainment studios (Warner, Viacom, and others), as well as other brands. SkinIt's headquarters has been relocated to San Diego, however still maintains a corporate office in Golden. More information »
